Dr. Vandermark completed her PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut and took a position as the clinical coordinator and clinical assistant professor in the Graduate Athletic Training Program at the University of Arkansas in 2016.  After completing her bachelors degree in athletic training, Dr. Vandermark was a high school athletic trainer while completing her masters and doctoral degrees.  Dr. Vandermark's research interests include thermoregulation and hydration during exercise, and exertional heat stroke.
